Good morning!
Walmart is expanding their grocery delivery service to Crestview and outlying areas of Niceville, Destin and Fort Walton Beach, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News.
Like any service app, users begin by typing in your zip code to verify that your area is setup for delivery and then you can proceed to add both grocery items and non-grocery items to your mobile cart.
Tom Ward, senior vice president of Digital Operations, Walmart U.S said,
“Customers love our Grocery Delivery service. As they are busy managing jobs, soccer practice, dance lessons and social schedules we are on a mission to do more than keep a little extra money in their pockets. With the help of these new delivery partners, we’re making grocery shopping even easier by bringing the everyday low prices of Walmart right to the front door of customers.”
Personal shoppers must complete a three-week training program learning how to select the freshest produce and the best cuts of meat for Online Grocery customers. After orders have been picked by Walmart’s personal shoppers, a member of the delivery partner’s team retrieves the order from a Walmart store and delivers it right to the customer during their specified delivery window.
Groceries can be delivered to customers as soon as the same day. Walmart’s Online Grocery Delivery carries a simple fee structure and a $30 minimum order - no subscription, no price markups.
In full transparency, my family uses Instacart religiously! We can order from Whole Foods or Publix and have the service pretty much delivery within a few hours. Before that, we did utilize Walmart’s Pickup on occasion which is also pretty fantastic. (I can’t tell you the last time I actually went inside and shopped).
Over to you! Do you use any grocery delivery services? Are you excited about Walmart now offering delivery? Hit the reply button and let me know :)

Ok, that’s all I have for you this morning! Hope you have a great Thursday and I’ll see ya tomorrow!
