I’m the first to admit that I don’t spend a ton of time out on 30a. Other than when we film for Get The Coast, I just don’t make it out there. When the weather is ideal (Summer)…there are just too many people…and when they’ve all gone home…well, it’s cold.
It’s also a very different world out there compared to Fort Walton and even Destin.
I love our “Experience with ResortQuest” series because it allows me to visit some really unique businesses that I might otherwise not get the chance to visit. As we get through the Holidays, we will be doing more out there and I’m hoping we can feature some of these Secret Bars!
In the blog post they write,
While a handful of die-hard locals have no doubt sampled all of 30A’s wonderful watering holes, out-of-town visitors don’t always have a lot of extra time to venture off the sandy path. And although the following bars are somewhat hidden away from public view, there’s certainly no reason to keep any of them confidential.
The list of bars includes:
- The Perfect Pig Bar in Gulf Place
- The Porch
- Redd’s Fueling Station
- WaterColor’s FOOW Bar
- Crabby Steve’s
- Growler Garage
- Havana Beach’s Rooftop Lounge
- The Wine Bar at Grand Boulevard
- Hidden Haunts on Scenic 98
- The Outpost
I highly encourage you to read through the list
as they’ve done a great job talking about each of them listed and highlighted their strengths.
