On Monday, the owners of Bamboo’s Jamaican Restaurant in Downtown Fort Walton Beach came to work to find that their large 5x7 ft window had been smashed, leaving the business wide open for anyone to access.
According to the Northwest Florida Daily News
, Restaurant owners Stacey and Tony Ruffin said “there were no security cameras in the vicinity of the entrance and no physical evidence on scene to indicate a suspect for this incident
.” But that the inside cameras might show a suspect.
I can’t stand when when things like this happen. From Dennis & Company’s smash-and-grab to Plus Skateshop having their window smashed a couple of years ago.
The window is estimated to cost around $700 to replace. While I’m sure the Ruffin Family can replace the window, it’s still a replacement cost I wish they didn’t have to endure. So, if you’ve never eaten at Bamboo’s Jamaican Restaurant, or you haven’t been in a while, I just want to encourage you to maybe stop in there and grab a meal!
