Events happening this weekend
Here’s some events featured on the “Everything Show!” this week. Thanks to Eglin Federal Credit Union for making this show happen each week!
If you are a big Sesame Street lover, you probably know that this year marks the 50th anniversary for Sesame Street. To celebrate, this Saturday November 9th, Barnes and Nobles in Destin will be hosting their National Storytime. They will be reading two of the most beloved Sesame Street books, “The Monster at the End of this Book” and “The People in Your Neighborhood.” It’s a free event and starts at 11 am on Saturday so if you’re in Destin, bring the kids out!
The Seaside Seeing Red Wine Festival is celebrating its 29th anniversary and it’s happening this weekend! Everything kicks off Thursday with the vintner dinner at Bud & Alley’s, Friday night features the Al Fresco tasting with all the super exclusive wines and then of course, Saturday is the Grand Tasting.
It goes from 1-4 pm and there will be countless wines to taste, food by Seaside restaurants, live music and more. The weekend goes out with a POP at the bubbles brunch in Ruskin place. There are all kinds of ticket packages available including VIP options so go find the Seeing Red Wine Festival Facebook event for a direct link to all the details.
Destin Crafted
So if you’re more of a beer and bourbon kind of person - you should check out the Destin Crafted event. It’s happening this Saturday November 9th at The Henderson in Destin.
From 1-4 pm you’ll get to  sample hundreds of rare and delicious beers & bourbons and enjoy local food hand-crafted by some of the area’s favorite restaurants. You can buy a ticket just for Saturday’s event for $50 or if you want to go all in there’s a VIP option that also includes a special Friday night event at The Henderson and a brunch at Craft Bar on Sunday. For a direct link to tickets, find the Destin Crafted Facebook event.
Ok, that’s all I have for you this morning! Hope you have a great Friday!
Jared
