Good morning!
Yesterday morning, Allegiant Air announced the debut of non-stop service from the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) to Omaha’s Eppley Airfield (OMA) and Tulsa International Airport (TUL) beginning on June 6, 2019.
The news came as Allegiant Airlines called into the scheduled Okaloosa County board meeting and gave the announcement over speaker phone.
Tracy Stage, Okaloosa County Airports Director said,
“Allegiant Air has been a huge partner in our growth not only through an increase in passengers generating significant tourism impact and more destinations, but by contributing 130 new jobs at VPS.”
Both flights will be offered twice weekly throughout the summer season.
I don’t really have a need to fly many places and when I have, it’s been on American or Delta. I’ve never flown on Allegiant and have always wondered how good their flights are considering how cheap you can get them for.
What do you think of the news? Have you ever flown Allegiant? Hit reply and let me know your experience!
